The Olliver family history

(this generation at least)

It was Tuesday, 4^th October 1982 and the location was University College London.

Young students on their first day started to know each other.

Suzzy beat Vik at poker.

Vik was impressed and decided this was the girl for him.

Suz needed more persuasion.

Vik wasn´t to be put off though and lured her with his secret weapons - tea, toast and jumbo-sized catering sausages.

Finally on the 29^th March 1986 they were wed.

After a false start, Kate was born on the 13^th July 1988, and now Vik can look at this page whenever he can´t remember one of the girls’ birthdays. Tamara was born just 19 months later  on the 23^rd January 1990. There is a good excuse for the close gap - Tamara was 8 weeks premature and weighted just 3lb11oz. She wasn´t one to let this hold her back however.

We are still grateful to the staff at the Whittington hospital in London for all they did for Tamara, who is now a strong healthy girl who shows no sign of her traumatic start.
